This lovely late 1800's-early 1900's hand-carved European walnut stool retains a very old Marshal Field Co. label and measures only 9 1/2" tall (8" tall visible wood) x 14" x 11" overall. It has nicely articulated finger carved skirt with c-scrolls on the wider sides and elegant cabrile legs accented with raised flowers. Its silk (?) wide weal rep cream covering shows soiling but very little wear and no tears; I'm not sure if it is cleanable. The underside reveals numerous old and more recent screww repairs as shown, and there is a small wood loss as pictured. It is pretty sturdy as a result of these repairs and would be a good user.WE ARE ALWAYS HAPPY TO SHIP WORLDWIDE IF ALLOWED BY USPS. Please e-mail me if you have any questions.
